Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is a federal immigration program for skilled workers with at least one year of Canadian work experience within the last three years. It operates under Express Entry and is ideal for those already in Canada on valid work permits, including international students and temporary foreign workers. Unlike other programs, CEC does not require a job offer or foreign work experience, making it accessible and fast.
Eligibility Highlights:
Minimum 12 months of skilled Canadian work experience (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3)
Work experience gained legally on a valid permit
Meet language proficiency (CLB 7 for NOC 0/1; CLB 5 for NOC 2/3)
Plan to live outside Quebec
Eligible for Express Entry
